1)    There are 5 options which have been suggested by the Faber Maunsell consultants.

They are:-

 

Option 1 - Part time 20mph speed limit around the primary school.

Option 2 - Part time 20mph speed limit on ALL of School Road.

Option 3 - Part time 20mph speed limit on ALL of School Road with traffic calming build outs.

(these are kerbed triangular protrusions out into the road from the side, and I am led to believe there are 8 proposed along one side, and 3 on the east side meaning that traffic weaves from side to side, in and out of them).

Option 4 - Part time 20mph speed limit on All of School Road. Footway widened to 2m,

additional street lighting and passing places commencing east of access to Newbigging Cottages.

Option 5 - Full time 20mph speed limit on ALL of School Road with speed cushions and build

outs. (these are kerbed triangular protrusions out into the road from the side, and I am led to believe there are 8 proposed along one side, and 3 on the east side meaning that traffic weaves from side to side in and out of them).
