Local Producers Exhibit
'Food From Grampian'
 North
East MSP Alex Johnstone was on hand on Wednesday evening last
week to welcome two local food producers to the parliaments
'Taste of Grampian' reception.
Pictured is
the parliamentarian meeting with marketing agents John and
Michael Kerr on the 'Duncan's of Deeside' stand in the
parliaments garden lobby where the company drew the
attention of MSP's from across Scotland who were keen to
hear about the companies successes, and of course taste some
of the product.
The MSP also
met with expert baker Helen Mackinnon and her husband from
Laurencekirk and who are regular attendees at the Stonehaven
Farmers Market, at their 'Delicious Baking' stand.
Speaking
after the event Alex Johnstone MSP said, " The quality of
food produced in the North East of Scotland is second to
none and I am delighted that so many companies have been
able to display their products at this event. I
congratulate my colleague Nanette Milne MSP whose idea it
was and who worked so hard to achieve this success"
