Kinneff Young Farmers Pull Tractors For Club Funds

Earlier this month Kinneff Young Farmers managed to 'pull in' over a 100 current and former members  to their annual sponsored tractor pulling night at the Station Hotel.   Organised in much the same way as any other race night, the young farmers added an agricultural theme by inviting compeditors to tow model tractors across the floor by winding them in by a cranking handle  

The club are very grateful to  Filpumps Ltd, Ardene House Vetinary Practice, East Coast Viners Grain, D M Forklifts, Robertson Crop Services Ltd, G & M Scott Contracting, A Prentice ATV and the Station Hotel for their generous sponsorship of the races during the evening.

Former Club Member Alex Johnstone MSP who acted as compere for the evenings events, said,

"Once again the young farmers have come up with a novel way of fund raising, and it is encouraging to see many former members attending this very successful evening"

Kenny Groat, chairman said, "I am delighted with the evenings proceedings and  very appreciative of all the sponsors and the former members who turned  out to support the club".
