Conservatives Pledge Support In Fight To Retain Braemar
Ambulance
North
East Conservative MSP's Alex Johnstone and Nannette Milne
were among a host of politicians who descended on Braemar on
Friday evening to meet with local residents to discuss the
on going changes to ambulance cover in the area.
Speaking after the meeting Alex Johnstone
MSP said, " I am delighted to add my support to the campaign
to keep the high quality of ambulance cover which Braemar
has had in the past and the presence of five members of the
Scottish Parliament representing three political parties
including the governing SNP group, indicates that this cross
party campaign has an improving prospect of success."
"The high turn out at this open meeting,
representing almost 1 in 5 of the whole community, indicates
the depth of local feeling and we must now make sure that
this message is heard, loud and clear, by those who hold the
power to make real changes to the way that remote rural
areas are being ignored in favour of urban communities and
the central belt."

ambulance.
